P. S – Rum Swizzle is a rum based cocktail that pre dates the cocktail and is often called Bermuda’s national drink. It’s named after the way it is mixed rather than the ingredients. The most astounding historical significance of the drink is that, this drink was served at the world’s first cocktail party in London in 1924 held by novelist Alec Waugh. Rum, fruit juice (often including lime, or orange and pineapple juice), and a flavored sweetener such as falernum or grenadine are the most consistent ingredients of the drink.
