Moonless night;
And chill of the wind,
Seeping in her skin,
Fear; deliberately dawdled,
Naked and barefaced.
Changing hues, the sky dimmed the darkness
And dawn came to her rescue.
Dark was still beautiful,
Oh! How so witless and how so askew.
