Sitting by the window,
I cherish those days of yore;
When splashing colors was fun,
And, To be alive was Eden.
Reminiscing good old carefree days of childhood always brings a broad smile to one’s face. When unlike today, painting meant wax crayons and water colors, when games meant going outdoors, when jokes and stories were shared sitting in groups and when festivals meant to be get-together of big-fat-Indian-joint-families.
The above verses are inspired by William Wordsworth’s “French Revolution” which reads as- “Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive; But to be young was very heaven”.
