“When in doubt, ask a lot of questions. Relevant or irrelevant, the culprit will spit out truth anyway.” He was taught by his mentor. Besides, he was far away from being tired and thought he ought to be active. At sudden idea of confusing the captive, he asked if he ever witnessed a Black Russian. The captive was indeed flabbergasted. Having zero knowledge, he gave a puzzled reply “I have mostly heard and seen White Russians, that too in the downtown bar”.
It was his turn to be astonished. “Did his reply direct towards people or the drink?” he wondered.
P. S – White Russian is a cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa or Tia Maria), and cream served with ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Often milk will be used as an alternative to cream. The traditional cocktail known as a Black Russian, which first appeared in 1949, becomes a White Russian with the addition of cream. Neither drink is Russian in origin, but both are so named due to vodka being the primary ingredient.
I have signed up for Blogging From A-Z Challenge- April 2017. I would be writing 100 words fiction this A-Z season. My fiction pieces will be twisted around various cocktails.
Oh this is an interesting take on this drink- I like the fact thats its connection to Russia is only the Vodka!!!! Btw have you tried out all these drinks?
