Marriage changed the dynamics of their relationship and life seemed to have taken a 3600 turn all of a sudden. The nights which ended snuggling in each other’s arms hardly existed. She felt the drift way before husband had.
Her lost confidence boosted in leaps from the day she had started dating (him). What started with a wrong number, ended in long phone calls and cocktail dates, particularly with the Xanthia. There was no looking back. She used to reach home, complete usual chores, and sleep blissfully until one evening.
She found dearest husband kissing (his) wife by the bar.
P. S – Xanthia is a cocktail made from Dry Gin, Cherry Brandy and Yellow Chartreuse, and served in a chilled cocktail glass. The origin of the cocktail dates back to the 1920s, however, the actualities are pretty much muddled.
I have signed up for Blogging From A-Z Challenge- April 2017. I would be writing 100 words fiction this A-Z season. My fiction pieces will be twisted around various cocktails.
