The packed club and overcrowded dance floor made her head spin. Everyone seemed merrier than her and oblivious to the violent turbulence looming inside her heart. He was waiting at the bar. Never in her wildest imaginations, did she consider doing whatever she was upto tonight.
“A punch should take care of the giddiness and uncertainty” she thought. She smiled at him, fighting against unwanted anxiety pangs. Was it the punch or was it the warmth of his smile?
3 rounds of Caribou Lou and the one night stand. That was all she needed to fumigate entire hatred of past.
