Their friendship was thick since school days and the trio had promised to have each other’s back forever. What if they couldn’t get into Eaton together, each get-together had to be celebrated with Old Etonian. Lost in their own separate careers, friendship did take a setback when they both announced their engagement. She felt betrayed for not letting her have any inkling about them for so long. However, she definitely felt happy for them at the same time. She was the one and only maid of honor at their wedding.

P. S – Old Etonian is a gin cocktail which enjoyed great popularity in London, circa 1925. The cocktail takes its name from Eton College and from the college’s alumni, who are often referred to as Old Etonians.
