Wandering through the streets,
Delighted at the sight of winter colors
The cherry blossoms all over,
They make me fall for everything vibrant.
Those tiny little blooms
Flaming in pink like several tiny bulbs,
Outshining the green,
Whispering hopes,
Promising smiles,
Bestrewing Gaiety,
For every heart in distress.
Home-coming of Gods,
Days full of mirth,
And, a season of blessings.
The picture above is from Shillong’s Ward Lake. The streets in Shillong are covered with cherry blossoms throughout during the winters.
